With thousands of components developed for it for free or in addition available as shareware or by commercial firms, it should be considered using Delphi by everyone. Especially, as the basic Delphi edition (v.6.0) is being offered now by Borland for free as well.

Many of the existing components are bundled in VCL packs or as libraries. These libraries are developed all over the world. The best ones are often from the U.S. and from Russia.
