In 1999 we have exchanged our bookmarks to avoid searches someone from our group has already done and shortly thereafter the idea of Link-Mail was born: What if we could exchange bookmarks and link-tips within the net community? Rather than searching the net this community would provide answers to many link related questions among themselves. To keep the ball rolling, we have established this site and 'donated' the first batch of hand-selected, high quality links with the hope that they would be useful for our visitors. Since then, our link library growth has been significant.
Our goal was and is simple: To collect and to provide top quality links from the Internet to our community for free of charge with the hope that this idea will be not only be accepted but also appreciated by submitting bookmarks in return other than our own and to provide and exchange link tips in our blogs or forums. Done rightly, this concept helps to decrease significantly the time necessary to be spent on the net. This has been acknowledged by many users and also by business communities and networks such as Ryze.
To elevate the process further, we have chosen e-mail's as the carrier for our links rather than links normally found on a sidebar. By adding comments and an editorial part, each e-mail becomes an independent letter, our now famous link-mail letters. By introducing our 'Privacy & Anti Spam Policy' our link-mail letters are opt-in without any unwanted follow up. E-mail's proved to be an easy way to communicate with our visitors and enabled than to keep a library of information right on their fingertips, especially if the link-mail letters are kept in a separate link-mail folder. To provide you with information as fast as possible, most of our letters are sent to you by our autoresponder only.
Link-mail.com provides an unique service. While links can be found at every site on the net, we are the only service concentrating solely on link information in ways most useful for our visitors. We provide only quality links to you. As business users we do understand what surfers are most likely looking for. It will be impossible to catalog the net, yet we think with our link-mail letters we provide the best available link information to date. Since our start of our business model we are providing free information to thousands of visitors.
We will continue to search the web for outstanding links while we provide currently over 150 comprehensive link-mail letters with almost 8,000 hand-selected and documented links. In 2007 we have started to re-design our site (a work still in progress!) and hope you'll find it even easier to use. We have added a new review section as well as a context sensitive article section (that is, clicking on the article button will guide you to different article pages, depending where you are just visiting our site). This will help you to find quickly information you may be interested in. New is also our topic link which guides to theme based mini-sites on our server - strictly designed to focus on various topics of interest and to extend to even more resources such as white paper and reports - all on our own site. Since link-mail.com is free but using a lot of resources and manpower, we have added Adsense to our pages since 2007. Those ads from Google are context sensitive..so most of the time you should see relevant ads regarding the topic of the pages you just visiting. Hope you don't mind that .. but somehow the bills have to be paid ;-) . But our focus will always to provide quality links via email to you. Something we done for years already.

Our site is growing in functionality almost weekly. To make your visit even more worth and interesting, we have established in April 2007 a new online books store with over 10,000 books, reports and software packages on sale, all are searchable from within a database. The costs per book is usally around $50.00 or less and can be downloaded immediately upon purchase. Covered are only items which can be downloaded. Payments has to be done usually by using Credit Cards or PayPal, depending on the products. No credit card information will be saved on our site ever. Our store is located off-site at 10000-books.
