We try to avoid to publish links of sites with similar contents except if we feel new and important information might be found. Otherwise, we will select the better one for publication only. We never publish the same story twice within the same group and category. We may however publish the link more than one time if a given link belongs to overlapping categories and should be accessible from both. In general, we do not publishing duplicate links.

Usually we do not link to any other link list on the net, as we cannot maintain the foreign link quality and want to avoid our readers to end-up with dead links from another side..which is often the case. Exceptions are the well maintained super-sites with 100's of links within a given theme which are well known for their quality. These sites are a bonus for visitors and will not be kept hidden for any reason.

But our site's main purpose is to provide links to quality contents and to this end we are often linking deeply directly to interesting contents our readers should know about (just like search engines) rather than directly to a home page as mentioned before. Only if a site is dedicated to a certain subject will link to the index page after it has passed our QC criteria.

Every link we supply is verified to be alive before publishing. After that, we try to recheck older links periodically. Usually those links become obsolete at a rate of 5%-7% per year. Thus, even if we don't update a link-mail letter for a longer period, most of the links should still work...even after years. If you found a link not working (or some of our own site links are not working for whatever reasons) please kindly notify us 2techsupport@link-mail.com so we can repair the link instantly.

We have also expressively committed ourselves to the 'Privacy and No Spam' policy. That is, any e-mail address or any other personal data (such as from surveys) will be kept strictly confidential and used internally only. We also do not send you any e-mail unsolicited and you are able to cancel any of your previous requested updates or newsletters by sending us either directly an e-mail or from within our site.

Our e-mail's letters may not be ad free as this site has to be financed. But we will keep a good balance to our editorial and links contents. On top of this, our ads are targeted whenever possible. We try to avoid that sport ads will appear in the Internet group. At present time however, while we do accept advertisers, the link-mail letters remain completely ad free as far as outsiders are concerened. We do run a few internal ads however. What we might be interested in is a thank-you page JV to busy sites.

Each link submission will be screened for usefulness for its target audience but no promise can be made to accept and to publish any new link. We reserve the right if and when we will publish new sites links. An accepted link is normally scheduled within six weeks or faster to be presented in our ever growing mailing list.

Updates are done usually on an ongoing basis, group by group. Great links we feel to have 'en mass' (more than enough) will be published on a weekly schedule and to be announced at our home page.

Every mailing list contains at least 15-20 hand-selected quality links with comments for each one and a summary editorial part as guidance. A link-mail letter will be updated once we find at least 10 new quality links for it and the subscribers will be informed if they have opted to receive the new updates.

Too few links per category? Tell us. But we feel that the minimum of 15 links per category is a good starting point as all of these links are documented while guiding you to top quality sites which contents can be explored. If we have more than 50 links per letter we probably start to split the subjects and creating newly focused link-mail letters.

Lastly, we hope that you can send us some of your top links in order to support this free community service. Who knows, a link from us you might find very useful today may have been just submitted by one of our readers. .
